We’re seeking strategic partners.

Skatespace is an indoor skateboard park, which opened spring of 2025 in the heart of downtown White Salmon, WA. In addition to our summer skateboard camps, sessions, and lessons, we’re going mobile with our sustainably-fueled shuttle bus and winter program.

Skatespace founder and director, Mike Parziale, is well-versed in mixing mobile marketing with renewable energy. Over two decades, and a dozen cross-country tours, Mike has powered diesel cars, trucks, buses, and motorhomes on the restaurant friolator by-product, waste vegetable oil. By up-cycling French fry grease (aka American soybean oil) these vehicles tap into a closed carbon cycle, see a 100% reduction in sulfur dioxide, and restore Rudolph Diesel’s original intention, that the diesel engine should run on organic fuel sources, and not petroleum.

What’s next?

With instruction from Mike, the Skatespace shuttle bus will get converted in the fall of 2025 as part of the curriculum for Hood River Valley High School’s STEM program. The bus is an amazing asset for our summer camps, PNW skatepark tours, media & events, and team outings. These vehicles create a secure connection between environmental responsibility, experiential marketing, skateboarding, and action sports.

The main season for any indoor skatepark in the Pacific Northwest is from Halloween to April, when the rain and snow traditionally force skateboarders into hibernation. Thankfully we offer after-school programs, Skate Like a Girl® clinics, ramp building workshops, evening sessions, screen-printing demos, art classes, and even toddler-time during the school hours.

Brand Recognition

  • Inside

At Skatespace we’re building a camera rig that tracks a skater from coping to coping on the mini-ramp. Sponsor logos will appear on the back wall throughout years of user-generated content.

  • Outside

Our grease-powered rolling billboard will soon get a roof rack and a full vinyl wrap. Let us know if you have company trips you’d like to discuss.

  • Digital

Though Skatespace is in its infancy, it checks a lot of boxes for inspiring media content; action sports, youth development, alternative fuel and community driven as a foundation.
