We’re seeking strategic partners.

Skatespace is an indoor skateboard park, which opened spring of 2025 in the heart of downtown White Salmon, WA. In addition to our summer skateboard camps, sessions, and lessons, we’re going mobile with our sustainably-fueled shuttle bus and winter program.

Skatespace founder and director, Mike Parziale, is well-versed in mixing mobile marketing with renewable energy. Over two decades, and a dozen cross-country tours, he has powered diesel cars, trucks, buses, and motorhomes on the restaurant friolator by-product, waste vegetable oil.

By up-cycling French fry grease (aka American soybean oil) these vehicles loop into a closed carbon cycle, see a 100% reduction in sulfur dioxide, and restore Rudolph Diesel’s original intention, that the diesel engine should run on organic fuel sources, and not petroleum.

What’s next?

After three years of successful summer camps we are expanding into the indoor space to offer year-round after-school skateboard club with pick-up and drop-off services in the shuttle bus. With support from our gofundme contributors, and like-minded sponsors, we are fundraising to cover the costs associated with…

• Vegetable oil conversion with custom fuel tank

• Roof Rack for snowboard gear

• Third ramp section, 1/4 pipe and step-up

• Skatespace Art Studio area

Brand Recognition

  • Inside

At Skatespace we’re building a camera rig that tracks a skater from coping to coping on the mini-ramp. Sponsor logos will appear on the back wall throughout years of user-generated content.

  • Outside

Our grease-powered rolling billboard will soon get a roof rack and a full vinyl wrap. Let us know if you have company trips you’d like to discuss.

  • Digital

Though Skatespace is in its infancy, it checks a lot of boxes for inspiring media content; action sports, youth development, alternative fuel and community driven as a foundation.
